Hi fellow Xnet customers

I can ping an ip address on Xnet dial up but not on HSI !

All other pings work ok

Any ideas, what could the issue be ?

I tried from a Dlink 504T at work to rule out NAT and that worked fine [different ISP]

Modem is a Dyanink RTA1320 v3.28q. I even turned off half bridge mode thinking that could be an issue. Removed my Wifi router from the setup too. I have turned off all firewalls too. I haven't tried upgrading the modem to 3.30j yet

I need this to work as the ip address I access sends back a radius request [which works fine on dialup]

Whats the IP address your trying to ping, can I try pinging it.

Get a traceroute and post it. You can PM me if you don't want all and sundry to ping your address :-)

Thank you for replying

WxC confirmed they could not ping the address from HSI either but could from the office

WxC have since promptly resolved the issue. My thanks to WxC and Craig on their Service Desk. I definately selected the right ISP Smile
