Hi everyone.  My father has an existing VF adsl connection but his modem/router has crapped out.  He bought a new (unused) Vodafone Station off trademe, from a guy who got it when he signed up but didnt need it.

I went around to set it up for him today, and when I plugged it all in, it automatically connected and we had full service straight away.  The only problem is that I haven't put in his ADSL username and password yet.  I imagine therefore that the modem is set up with the other guys details when sent out.

I went into the settings page for the Vodafone Station but it wasn't immediately clear to me where the logon details were to be entered, although there was an "ADSL" field with (from memory) VFNZ_pro as username and a password that was obscured.

Can anyone tell me if this is where I enter my fathers logon details? Or is this something I need Vodafone to do remotely for me.  I did try calling the VF help line, but after waiting for 40mins had to hang up.

Thanks for any help!

When plugged in the modem the settings would of been pushed out so you don't need to do anything

Yeah, but only if the modem serial number is assigned to the worksheet on the customer's account, which it won't be in this case.

The connection might be running on port based authentication. If you can pm me the account details I'll check if it's authenticating properly, if it isn't I'll ask for a callback.
