A friend has got a Dynalink UD800G3 USB ADSL modem (supplied by Telstra) and is swapping from a Win98 box to an XP box.

I've managed to find some drivers (on a web server somewhere - couldn't find anything on Dynalinks website), but they appear to be generic for the oem version of the modem (conexant? something like that).

Does anyone have any instructions for setting up a Dynalink UD800G3 with Telstra under XP?

I could try guessing the setup, but if anyone knows what the key settings are for this device it would be appreciated if they could let me know 8-).

Thanks in advance.

Nigel H.

...and my apologies for the original version of this posting being blank (got interupted and a reboot from a Windows update must have lost the content).
