I have just bought a SPA2102 from wxc via my ISP. 

When I try to connect to http://192.168.1.1/admin/advanced I get an http login screen asking me for "spa admin"'s password.  Is this normal for a locked unit?

I had wanted to have a look at the ringtone settings that the manual describes but can't because of this password.
