My partner has used her data allowance on her Vodafone plan ($39 open plan). I had a look at the My Vodafone app on her phone and was surprised that I couldn't find any way to purchase more data via the app? The app itself looks great, but I would have thought one of the first features Vodafone would have incorporated would have been an option to give them more money?!

Of course, it may be buried in the app and I have missed it ...?

Postpay plans get an SMS at 80% and 100% of data usage and the 100% SMS has a link to buy more data

Also at 100% usage if you try and browse on the Web a redirect should happen to buy more data

Thanks John - might be a useful app development to consider for future?

The functionality is in the app for the shared data plans, there are options to buy 100MB, 500MB and 1GB.

SMSs and redirects are only useful if you are on the device that the connection is on. Really buying more stuff should be the first thing that is sorted in an app, since that is where money comes from.
