I currently have a Prepay Data Sim (Triple Sim) 4g Enabled.

Will this simm also do gprs, as when i ring 777 from the sim it says service denied, and i Associate gprs with voice services.......

All im trying to do is pass ip over gprs, and Vodafone tech informed me that the data card is enabled for data, but couldent help much more than that.

What i want to know is do i have the wrong plan/simcard/profile for gprs. and can the profile be adjusted to allow gprs?

If you have a data only sim you will not be able to make any calls or SMS from it which explains why you couldn't call 777

GPRS is no different of 3G or 4G - it's a data service and your data SIM will do this just fine. These are packet services (GPRS even stands for General Packet Radio Service).

Now voice calls and SMS are different things - these re circuit switched services.

Two different groups of things.

Yes GPRS should work with 3G SIM. And it will be very slow.

Fantastic, the device i have with the data sim in it is only capable of GPRS so that is fine as the unit is only shifting small amounts of data.
