We are about to throw our Vodafone TBox out the window. The recording times are permanently way off and we are losing the last 10 minutes of all our recordings. We have the timing buffer set to 3 mins, yet the TBox starts recording around 15 early, so, even with the buffer, we are losing the last 10 minutes of all programs. We are lucky if we get past the entree on Come Dine with Me!

Anyone else having similar problems? How to fix? Will a hard reset or reboot help? Drastic action is required, the current TBox recording debacle is a disaster!

If you change the timing buffer you need to relink the shows after the change

Tbox = free on contract. Sky = $130 per month.

Err, I'll try the reboot (-;

Same problem here, im wondering if VODAFONE could force the T-BOX to do a more regular clock sync across the network to fix this.
its a bit unacceptable to have to reboot/unplug to fix this issue.

The reboot fixed - hopefully not something I need to do regularly.

Tbh the Tbox is probably something that could be returned and contract terminated free of charge under the CGA

If a TV Recorder can't record things at the right time, due to its clock not functioning correctly it is not fit for purpose.

This issue has existed for months, Why is it not fixed yet!

Thing is, it is free on contract, best deal around I can find, so not keen to give up (even with the regular re-boots required).
