Hi, I'm on Vodafone VDSL with Huawei HG659 and would like to use my own router Asus AC66U which works great with cable at my old place. Are there any instructions on how to setup HG659 as modem only with my own router for everything else? Any help is much appreciated.

Turn off DHCP on the HG659 and give it a new IP say 192.168.0.1 and disable wifi. PROFIT??

That doesn't turn it into a modem. I'm not sure there is a bridge mode on those units.
