about 4pm today access to World Exchange sites has stopped for me. Unfortunately their Help desk finishes at 4pm during the weekend. Are others having the same trouble?

It's loading for me. (Well, I have the title)
Very slowly though - it took a couple of minutes to load.

still thinking about it for me..My usage meter showed 0% but the history file graph showed previous history. I think it was trying to update from the home site. Figured the home site down would be more important and  pointed this post to it and thought it would draw an early reply but I was wrong...

The usage meter is definitely broken.
Was showing over 30% this morning.

looks like it is fixed now. today i updated my Net framework via windows update and installed a new Live messenger . Were these involved in the problem?

Nope, it sounds like Xnet servers had an issue of some sort.
