I have seen a number of posts / threads over the years about mobile coverage in Greytown CBD and thought I would advise of a new site in town

Greytown CBD 2G / 3G on 900Mhz unlcoked & 4G 700Mhz / 1800Mhz locked down for now

End users should now see a huge improvement in mobile coverage

John

Just confirming that by unlocked, you mean accessible to 2 Degrees customers...

It's in test and optimisation stage so I suspect not and 2D customers can't roam onto all Vodafone sites,

Vodafone subscribers will be able to attach

Funnily enough I stay in Greytown once a month for work. When I'm in a restaurant having dinner I was getting 4G (this was last Thursday night) and in my motel room 100m away I have no signal. It's actually quite nice!

That would of been only been for a quick test, 2G / 3G is officially unlocked as of yesterday
