Hi there

Am currently with spark fibre30 and sky tv with myski and sport

Thinking about ditching and moving across to Vodafone fibre and tv probably with sky sport initially as they have 6 months free. Also thinking of ditching home phone altogether as we use mobile most of the time. In the end we would save quite a lot by not having to pay for recorder or hd ticket or home phone or sport for 6 months so on the face of it it looks like a good move.

Would be interested in the following:
- Any comments on spark vs Vodafone for fibre and modem quality
- Any things I should consider with getting rid of home phone
- Does the Vodafone tv box play dlna and can it stream recorded things to other tv's

I hear Vodafone has a top quality Huawei on all of their plans, when Telecom uses that same top quality Huawei on their top plan only, and a lower quality Huawei modem for all their other Fibre plans.
The only thing about getting rid of your home phone is if you have a monitored alarm.

Prepare yourself for a horrible experience with vodafone tv, particularly if you have had sky before

I am in the industry an there are options available for most situations i do recommend http://radionetmonitoring.co.nz/ for there man in the middle (So To Speak) solution to the no traditional phone line.
(VoIP is not a phone line for alarm monitoring)
