Still down for me. Called Vodafone and they say there is no known issues. Went through the usual modem reboot etc with them and ping test. At this stage they don't know what's going on and they said they will call me back tomorrow. Hope it soughts itself out overnight because I start my 4 days of leave tomorrow!

If any of you are using unblock-us, their Australasian DNS server is currently down. I switched back to my own ISPs and it's working.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

It's 2.17am in the morning and loads of planned work over August as per letters sent out from V so you should expect outages

I never got a letter. But am aware of the work being done. But don't think we can just assume every outage is due to the upgrades, that's to easy of a excuse. When I rang the help desk the other night they told me there was no work being done at the time and no current outages. The proof will most certainly be in the pudding.

Front line staff would not be advised of planned work on a single HFC node or planned work that is not a major outage and impacts a small cluster of customers

I lost cable for about 15 minutes this morning (Thorndon), back up about 10:50am.

Never had any letters or emails regarding 'planned maintenance' in all time I've had cable tongue-out

I've not previously been greatly affected by congestion, until last night. Will assume it's maintenance.
