Sigh... just as I was getting reasonably happy with VF support again the billing department decides to strike again :(

So previously I was on the 80gb 50/2 w/home phone plan paying $89 with an additional $10 on account mobile discount. A week or so ago I switched over to the Unlimited 50/2 w/home phone plan and I was told it would only be $10 a week more (I double checked this too).

However it appears VF billing system seems to think different and is now charging me $105 and the $10 additional discount has disappeared (so paying $26 more instead of $10). Which is odd as that doesn't even match up with any price listed on the VF website so not sure where that one has come from!

Is any VF bod around here happy for to follow this up for me or am I best to try PM'ing through Facebook? (I really want to avoid spending hours waiting on the phone to get my money back :) )

Phone and unlimited cable 50/2 is $99 per month. But obviously with the on account mobile price should drop to $89 per month.

Call and see if you wait for hours on hold cause the average hold time now is a few minutes and have you made sure the invoice is not showing a prorated account ?

Unfortunately I can't call at the moment which is a shame given the wait time. I suppose there's the other factor which is last time I called to talk billing, I couldn't get the call taker to understand the issue :)

Definitely not prorated as total cost of bill went up $31.88 which given it should only go up by $10 (and allowing a bit of movement with the prorating of a week) points at a wrong figure (plus the line item for $105 is for a month period)

Had a bit of time to go on hold and fix the issue so all good now (well, I'll reserve full judgement until next month's bill :). Apparently there's some kind of $6 discount that hadn't been applied although not sure why there needs to be a $6 discount given its the advertised price anyway?

Price always goes up at the end of the contract unless you renew it.

Seeing as this thread is about billing issues can anyone tell me why I've been charged $160 for traffic usage ? The only thing I've done is change from ADSL Unlimited to UFB Unlimited so why have I been charged over and above the package price? Help please.

What does it advise on the invoice? Charges should be broken down

TRAFFIC USAGE

Additional Traffic Usage 81551 10/08/15 09/09/15 160.00

It also gives these credits but they are separate from the traffic usage and I have no idea what they mean unless I was somehow put on the wrong plan for a while-

Date Amount (GST incl)

15/07/15 Adjustment of Ultra Fast 100 /Cable 130 -23.99

15/07/15 Adjustment of Ultra Fast 100 /Cable 130 -29.99

11/08/15 Adjustment of Ultra Fast 100 /Cable 130 -29.99

18/08/15 Disconnect of Unlimited BB and Phone -73.46

Hope this is what you mean

Have to give Vodafone credit here - I emailed them this morning and just got a reply that the $160 has been credited. So I'll just pay remainder and everythings fine. (I hope). Quite happy now.
