hi, i have a panasonic flat type mobile.. x200 - prepay
ive had it for sometime now..

Problem description:
the phone intermittently or most of the time searches for network.. than randomly it picks up network and phone works as per normal..
it can be searching for mins, hours days and than click back on to network working 'sweet azz' for mins, hours days..
now this fault was apparent from the 17/12, the day i called vodafone, and well they couldn't help because i dont remember my password.was a lil grumpy, but than again, i guess i should have remembered.. hung up, initiated a txt convo with a friend, went swell, than 10mins later, after a reply , BANG! it went searching for network...

jus curious? can vodafone d/c connection to my mobile ph/handset? i wouldn't think so, but we do live in an era of advanced tech? lol
i know its probably time for a new mob as ive had this for 2years..
but can someone shed some light on why its searches one min, than it works the next...
its been searching for the last 2days now....so i think its the end of that..

anyways, thanks for reading

Vodafone should be able to help you even when you forgot your PIN. They should ask you about 3 questions about you and your connection.

I would say handset is on way out!

Does this happen when SIM is in another device?
