Hi All,

Last time I posted on Geekzone was last year when the whole whoohaa surrounding Xtra's flat rate and issues happened - I promptly departed Xtra and joined Woosh Orbit Unlimited, was happy for most of the year and then the well known story happened.

I now jumped ship again, this time to XNet and must say the service is really good, regardless of a bit of a hickup, but mostly due to Telecom.Yell
We were without internet over the New Year period as Telecom's part of changing over my connection failed to complete 100% and by the time I checked with (helpful) Xnet it was too late to get Telecom Provisioning fix up the issue - gone home for new year..

So there we were, no internet with a pregnant wife nicely peeved off as it was all MY fault for changing and breaking the internets. Foot in mouth Luckily we have family close-by and we visited them more often for the daily 'fix'.
We got the connection restored earlier today and cudos is XNET for calling back to inform/check on us.

Now - Woosh insists on charging me for January event though I'm cancelling on the 3'rd of the Month - something about Telecom charging them already...shame maybe they need the money.

Now for FAST internets again...Smile

You are lucky you got your internet back up and going again so quickly.  We do a lot of new broadband setups, number ports etc with WorldxChange & Telecom Provisioning, and you can guarantee anything not sent through to WxC around 10 days before Christmas just isn't going to happen.

Time to get VFX now? Smile

I was thinking about the VFX deal yes, still need to get my head around what it entails and how it works. Undecided
