..... you know - the one with the Rolf Harris look alike in them.

Sorry Vodafone, a big fail from where I stand. I just cringe at the use of someone who looks so similar to Rolf Harris as the central pivot to the commercial.

Is it actually Rolf Harris or not? I am 110% sure it's not but if this worries you that much you need to get out more and maybe goto to the beach

:P

"Trust British Paints? Sure can!".

Any else remember this? Rolf Harris did a series of ads for British Paints in the '70's - always ended with good ole Rolfy playing a paint tin like a bongo and trotting out the line above.

For the sake of logical sanity, let me point out that nothing RH may have done (and frankly I have my doubts as to the safety of the conviction) alters the fact that he remains an extremely talented person.

What ad is this? There's an old one from 2012 where there's a Harris look-alike glimpse but that was before his sentencing.

I haven't seen the ad, but if it's a new one then I doubt could be him, seeing he's currently serving time as a guest of Her Majesty's Prison Services for a few more years...

I'd like to think that too, but the number of times people in power, be it political, sport, the arts, or just plain wealthy, abuse their position is downright staggering.

Y
es it looks a bit like Rolf, but if I'd not seen this thread, then seen this ad, I'd not think that. Its just an ad, showing how the oldies, and by marketing perception, the less IT literate, can use the Voda app

Nothing to see here, etc, etc

Seriously Dave?

He has white hair, he is male so in that regard they are almost the same person!?  Like above, nothing to see here.

Ok, having watched the ad, I think it doesn't look like him at all.

It's a good ad actually, so much better than those horrible white bubble people ("Zoo zoo").
