Fibre connected this morning so in process of changing to the new router. (impressively smooth experience so far - 10 working day from ordering to installation)

Logged in as admin with @1234 password so imagine latest firmware

Previous router/modem I could set up fixed LAN address for certain devices by MAC address.
ie NAS (AA:bb:cc:dd) on 192.168.1.45
IPCAM 192.168.1.40
etc.

Cant find a similar setting on new modem.
Constantly changing ip addresses will make finding the cam stressful for the other half who uses a browser shortcut to a set ip address.

Thanks for your help.

A.

You may want to assign a static IP to your local PC for best results. You will need to assign a static lease under Home Network>LAN Interface>DHCP Reservation>Create New Static Lease.

i found that in a post, hope it helps
