Hello!

I use Xnet (Auckland North Shore) and suddenly experience a very 'slow Internet'. Some sites load reasonably quickly, such as the Geekzone pages, for example. Others, such as Kiwibank, CNN, and a many more, load incredibly slowly or not at all. This all worked very well earlier this morning, but a few hours ago the slowdown started.

Ping times are the same as usual. The fact that some sites seem to load quickly, and others are slowed down is very strange.

Where your speed slows down randomly; Xnet are currently working with their equipment vendors to resolve.

Try resetting your router when this occurs and see if speeds return to normal. If that does not fix it, then log a fault with their helpdesk.
