Hi All

Have had some comments from people using our VFX line to dial out that the timeout period for pressing dial numbers is too short.  You know the thing, you dial 021, look back at your phone directory, go back to dial the rest of the number but the VFX line has timed out.

Tried doing this on a standard Telecom line and it times out after 10sec after the last button press, VFX timesout after 3sec which is too short on many occasions.

Can this be changed and if so how?

Cheers
Andy

Problem with that is if you dial a short number (Like the 9 digit On Account numbers vodafone often uses) then you will be waiting 10 secs for the timeout before the call will connect due to the way the dialplans are configured. Please correct me if I am wrong

Your correct this is the timeout period between digits, if it dosn't see any digits for 10 Secs then it sends the call generally set at 3 Secs to stop PDD (Post Dial Delay) .  Pressing # at the end of the number will send the call straight away
