Could someone from Vodafone explain why the My Vodafone app update is asking for permission to use the camera? Why exactly is this necessary?

@tangerz Yes the App can do SIM swaps using the bar code on the packets new SIM cards come in also the barcode is on the SIM card holders, Please see below picture
