Hi,

As of yesterday my Lumia 930 has stopped tethering - the wifi connection works fine still but no internet access is possible. Have confirmed the issue is with the phone through testing with multiple devices.

No phone updates in the last 44 hrs that should have affected this so suspect a carrier issue.

Any suggestions/advice?

Philbert

See if you can reset the carrier and network configs?

Cheers

Thanks for the feedback:

Brown out was considered as have had some issues with tethering when network congested however speednet was throwing down speeds of 40+ Mbps so don't believe that is an issue

Have cycled data connections/phone etc numerous times - am not sure what is meant by 'reset carrier/network config'

APN is still Vodafone (authentication type PAP; Ip Type IPvV4)....these are greyed out settings (auto-set) but I can manually add a new APN if needed (which does not appear to be the case here)

Will keep monitoring over the next few days - have also sent an email to Vodafone help desk.

Thanks again for the advice.

HI all,

Just thought I should close this out by saying that a factory reset did solve the problem.......

Cheers
