I am finding Skype problematic for the past few weeks! (am not in ihug though)

I even tried with my Vodem, the result is same. The audio and viode quality is really poor Embarassed

I was using Skype last week on an Xnet FS/128k connection, and the quality was perfect.

Previously I have had problems when the person at the other end was an Xtra customer, but that seems to have been resolved in recent weeks.

It was working well before christmas, even with video on.
Turning off the video does improve quailty, but the sound still cuts out badly or voice sounds muffled.

I will try it again on a xnet connection.

chakkaradeep  - the high latency of a vodem would affect the call quality badly.

It used to be working fine as other clients - MSN Live Messenger, Yahoo and GTalk all work good with Vodem

Only past 2 or 3 weeks , its like this for me

last year on my HTC EVDO Harrier, it worked superbly.

this time round dec/jan on my HTC EVDO Touch, it's unusable, terrible jitter and breakups.
