Ive been waiting a total of 4 hours over the last 2 days to try and talk to someone at vodafone.. what the hell is going on!! this is apauling service, having to wait 10 minutes for a csr is bad enough but yesterday i tried in my lunch hour and didnt get through, then i was prepared to sit it out after work.. 2 hours into the wait my battery died, and no charger around, typical... so i thought ill be one of the first this morning, 36 mins into it and no sign of vodafone.. god help you if you need to ring them!!!

Oh and how good are those calls when they ring you, and then tell you to wait to talk to a c.s.r! (havnt had one in a couple of months tho) you want me to do what! thats pretty rude, if the c.s.r was there waiting to speak to you that would be fine, but ringing me to put me on hold is pretty average at best..

1 hour 30 mins.. still nothing.. they gave up on telling me to continue to hold and that a c.s.r will be with me soon.. it was obviously a blatant lie and they knew it lol..
This is actually quite a good way to get the radio on your phone for free.. Just as well they came out with speakerphone..

are you calling from a landline or mobile?  i find that if i call from a cellphone to an 0800 call centre, i generally get answered within the first few minutes, compared with up to 15 minute waits on landlines.  i've found this especially effective when calling telstraclear.  i guess they don't want to pay too much for the 0800 calls from mobiles!  so when i get a message saying "the wait time is 15 minutes" and i get through in 2 minutes, consistently, i always call from a mobile now.

im ringing from my mobile.. 777.. What I should be doing is ringing the 0800 from a telecom mobile, that would be a pricey little call for them.. :)  Meanwhile.. 1 hr 42 mins and 31 seconds later... nothing

what option did you choose after you called 777?  speak with a customer services rep?

you must have a technical problem then.  i just rang 777 and got all the options read out to me, and pressed 0 for customer service rep and 1 to confirm, 5 seconds later i was through...

... so what's the reason / problem behind calling the CSRs at Vodafone?

Paul and a few others from Vodafone do hang around here (sometimes) and we may be able to help you as well (while you wait for an answer.)
