About to shift house, so I currently haven't setup a new Telecom landline.

But. Would it just be easier/quicker for Xnet and VFX to setup everything without having telecom go through the process of opening the account, number, etc ?

just move to the new place, and then egt an Xnet VFX account running ? Is there much of a delay (currently I'm an Ihug user).

Ta.

Depending on what you require but if you want to go onto Xnet fusion. You should be able to get that in which case you wouldnt need to open an account with Telecom as I understand it would be a new connection and just have naked dsl come down your phonelines but as rphenix said talk to Xnet and see what they have to say.

I'd also recommend going with Xnet Fusion, and kfella2000 said, saves you having to deal with Telecom.

According to the WxC dealer guide, provisioning timeframes are as follows:

New Xnet Fusion account - up to 7 business days
Upgrading from Xnet DSL to Xnet Fusion - up to 4 business days
Changing from another ISP's DSL to Xnet Fusion - up to 8 business days.

If you have any other queries, ask away, and I'll do my best to answer them.
