Foolishly bought version 1 from eBay while in Australia, not aware it was superseded a long time ago by version 2. The WAN side of things are working, but when I enter the xnet provisioning line for VOIP:
http://58.28.20.69/configs/default/default$MA.cfg
It doesn't seem to do anything after power cycling.

Firmware is updated to what I believe is the latest,  1.01.02

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Or won't this work at all with VFX?

This version won't work with VFX, it had some major issue's in the hardware that effected the voice quality. The provisioning and config is actually very different and the firmware is not the same so it will not provsion sorry.
