When I joined Vodafone I was given a special offer on my iPhone 24 month contract, $20 discount per month.

I just looked back to when it started - December 2014 and it says every month since then:

$20 Exclusive Discount 13 Dec - 12 Jan 1 cr $17.39 etc. Why has my $20 discount been only $17.39? - I wondered if there was a logical reason or if anyone else has the same discount that maybe it is gst related or something?

Would I be right that Vodafone owe me 14 months x $2.61 making $36.54?

Thanks.

Presumably, the discount is $20 inc gst and where you are looking are pre gst prices, which would be correct.

$17.39*1.15 = $20

Last time I called I left it on loud speaker with the on hold music and I managed to drive home, let the dogs out and start watching some TV before someone answered.

It would depend what time of the day you're calling. I doubt it's that quick all day, every day.

I'd be interested to know how long ago that was? VF had a period of terrible phone response time, but to my knowledge and in my experience it's much improved in the past 2-3 months or longer.

By comparison Spark now has significant wait times, which is particularly annoying given some of the snarky comments made by some Spark employees here at the expensive of VF at the time.

20+ minutes to answer yesterday afternoon - then got cut off 5 minutes into the conversation.

EDIT  This was to report a fault.
