I've been trying all morning to get through to a Vodafone Customer Services Reperentative. using 0800 800 021 selecting 2 for account, entering my Vodafone phone number then 0 then 1 to speak to a CSR. All I then get is a loud screeching noise. Not the best of service. Is this normal? What could cause this?

By good luck rather than by good management I finally got through when a Vodafone staff member cut in while I was selecting options. They say they are expereincing a telephone system fault whereby customers can't get through which is being investigated.

It would help if they put on a message to warn customers of the problem early on in their message prompts. This would save us ringing back which only overloads things further.
