Hi folks,

Does anyone know how much it costs to forward unanswered calls to another number (mobile or landline)? I can't seem to find this info on the website - that's not to say it's not there though.

Cheers,
Dany.

Dany, you need to log into the Voice Portal using the web address and User Information that has been e-mailed to you by WxC.

Once in there, go to:

Incoming Calls
Call Forwarding No Answer

and enter the number you want your calls forwarded to there.

Cheers,
Grant.

Thanks Grant but I knew exactly where the settings are - I just wanted to know if it costs anything to have those calls forwarded.

I am under the impression that calls to other VFX users are also free no matter if they are outside your local calling area, because it only goes through the WxC network and does not go out to POTS.  Am I wrong?

If I'm right, then obviously with number porting it is hard to know if the number you are dialling is a VFX user.  But it does not matter, it only means the call is free instead of charged.
