Have migrated an email account from an old laptop to a new laptop and I am getting an 'Authorization Failed' message from the server.

Its an old ihug email address and I am using the following settings:

Incoming Server: pop.ihug.co.nz

Server Port: 110

Secured: No

Type: POP3

Outgoing Server: smtp.ihug.co.nz

Server Port:25

Type: SMTP

I have checked online for the settings and all my settings appear to be correct.

How have you got your username entered ?

Just "user" or "user@ihug.co.nz" ? Try the alternative.
