Hi guys, sorry I know this is for Vodafone NZ but do others experience issues with loading the Vodafone Aus website? Trying to top up my Aus connection but always seem to have issues. This has been ongoing for more than a year now. I remember earlier this year a support person gave me a specific link that worked. However, this is now failing as well. Even the main page gives an error:

http://www.vodafone.com.au/

An error occurred while processing your request.

Reference #97.14346d68.1464038498.19e5abf6

Have tried from my mobile connection as well as work Internet on different days/times but it always fails.

I'm guessing they block some NZ IP ranges.

Same error here, from work (I believe that FX is the ISP).

Edit: Working again, as of 12:55 pm on 25/5.

Hmm interesting...yet strange. Was wondering how it could possibly be that bad for so long. I have however tried from my personal 2degrees connection as well as a friends Vodafone connection and my work Internet as well as home. Bizzare. Will sort somehow. Thanks for the quick responses anyway.

Update - sorry workmate was having a laugh. The page DOES load from his Vodafone mobile Internet connection. No idea why I can't access from any of my connections but will just use his for now and move over to another provider in Aus since this is giving me constant issues. Should be simple/easy but what a pain it has been for the last year.

Another update - main page loaded from his connection but then the recharge page gave an error. Sigh.

Goodbye Vodafone Australia.

Yes, I visited Vodafone AU's website yesterday and everything was loading fine.

Just giving it a go now results in

"An error occurred while processing your request.

Will tweet the AU team with the link to this thread.

Awesome. I must have terrible timing cos I've tried about 20 times in the last year and it always fails for me. Well about 19/20 times :). Thanks!

Website loaded fine for me just now. Yesterday I messaged ritzlal the outcome of my tweets to Vodafone Australia.

ritzlal, (1) did you manage to speak to someone last night and (2) can you access the website fine now?

Thanks again. Your help/time on this is much appreciated. I can load the website fine on my work Internet as well as my mobile data. However, when I try to access My Vodafone or other menus like Recharge - it times out and gives the error again.

Be interesting to hear what Vodafone actually have to say about this so I'll hit them up on social media once I'm back. For now it just seems quite pathetic to be honest. Obviously depends on how many users it's impacting but for me it's been like this for a year or so (or more?) now with no improvement.

Can load the homepage fine, and a couple of sites beyond that. Trying to access the fair use policy page, and I get that nice error again along with the reference number. I do wonder what is going on...

Hiya

The issue stemmed from Akamai CDNs, we contacted them and the issue has been resolved.

Cheers

Thanks. I used it fine in Australia eventually but initially just paid for roaming through another provider which was a bit annoying. Will test again from NZ now.
