I don't think users are allowed to know the admin password.

i dont see it being a problem. i can not do any damage the worst i can do is make it so it carnt connect to their service, even then i just do a factory reset then reload the xnet settings that they supply. i can get through with one modem but not with the modem i wana use its just a mater of changing some port ranges as the modem i want to use blocks the ports not hard

You could do far worse than that. Say you trashed your configuration and faced a large bill due to your calls not being billed correctly due to calls not being terminated properly? Who would you then be blaming?

The VFX service is locked down for a very good reason. WxC do a great job of creating custom configurations for a lot of people which is something that you won't find with many VoIP providers who lock down their devices.

I Agree with sbiddle, Wxc is more than happy to do custom configs, I have mine custom config for my SPA3102, I can use my SPA to dial 0# one VOIP provider and 1# to use another Provider.

After using WXC for the past 2 months I don't see a point going into the admin side of SPA, good to point out what you want I'm sure WXC will fullfill your request.

Outcome post:

I emailed them about a week back about another problem i was having, in the mean time b4 i got the email back i had already fixed that issue, they changed to ports to try to fix the issue iwas originaly having i,e lines were not terminating correctly but i had fixed that by changing router any way,

because they changed the ports my pap2 was using it let my other modem work

so yea agreed ring them first, ummm kinda had it changed by accident though haha they were fixing a problem i had already fixed and hapen to fix the other issue at the same time so all good
