I just tried to telephone my wife, but the voice message said that the call could not go through at the moment due to ‘congestion’.

Should I pour Sudafed or similar down the phone?

Sudafed doesn't work anymore because the authorities in NZ have banned the active ingredient.  Overseas versions should still work if you can get hold of them. I know it's off topic but I couldn't resist.

Yep, I placed the phone in a steamer filled with LemSip and it came clear within 10 minutes wink
