Some of u might remember me a while ago asking about free GPRS settings and was asking about the risks and what would happen if i topup etc......well, it turned out great, the tricks i posted were truly free GPRS settings, after topping up my credits didn't go down, therefore those tricks work even if you have no credits...........

but now, it doesn't work cuz apparently Vodafone fixed this problem a few days ago, a few of my friends told me the same. So, anyone know any free GPRS settings? A friend told me that if i try the settings for Orange mobile it might work, or any other APN or proxy address for another country might work but i tried heaps and none worked so far.

Anyways, if you don't know any, don't post a reply, cuz i know a few of you will start commenting on how this is bad blah blah blah.

Guess what? Vodafone did indeed fix the hole. And what's more it's not cool to use someone else's service for free knowing that you are using a exploit.

So I am locking this thread.

Prepay data is now rated live!

For a APN to be used this needs to be loaded onto the carriers GGSN! A carrier would not load other carriers APNs into there GGSN and route internet traffic!

No APN is going to give you free data as its not APN related its billing related!

Hope this saves you sometime from trying to find something that is not going to happen

John
