Slowly? Mine took literally a couple of minutes. I still don't know what the update does though :-) I'll tell you if it bricks my phone in a few minutes though :-)

I think it never actually started at all. Wifi on it has been weird recently and things lag out heaps. Will try later today.

ANd updated my Spark device without problems. Looks the same.

Android security fix? Got one for my Note 4 last month on 2D - release notes said 'General fixes and performance improvements, android security fixes' or something along those lines.
