Something died. Vodafone's cable DNS is broken, and a bunch of sites on their domain (help.vodafone.com, community.vodafone.com) are as of this post currently inaccessible.

I am, also. Glad I'm not alone (even though I use Unblock-US DNS (NZ) servers). facebook and instagram won't load, but twitter does.

In Petone on cable.

dns seems to be an unrelated issue, but probably a combined fault of the lot.

any2ix dying again, and not falling over to a backup route really isn't the best..

Should probably have made it clear in my OP, I'm on DSL, auckland

over 3G also seems to fail.

Vodafone dedicated corporate connections had a DNS problem as well. I was on a conference call between a corporate connection (a colleague), myself on 2 degrees fiber, and a company overseas. My connection on Skype and Go2Meeting were rock solid, but the Vodafone connection was laggy and DNS stopped working.
