Does Vodafone offer VOIP? My work just left Spark's POTS to Vodafone, but its the stupid cordless phone with a sim card in the base and its terrible quality and terrible reception. The Vodafone router has Vodafone VOIP settings in it but the only google results are for grandfathered products :/

I'm a geek, a gamer, a dad, a Quic user, and an IT Professional. I have a full rack home lab, size 15 feet, an epic beard and Asperger's. I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. If you use my Quic signup you can also use the code R570394EKGIZ8 for free setup.

Can we use that residential plan even though we're a business? I looked at them but the business pages redirected to Vodafone, and 2Talk is prepaid instead of a monthly invoice :/

Vodafone do offer VoIP through their routers for business as I've had a few clients with it, but it would not be my first choice given your stuck with their modem.

2Talk can do a monthly invoice, but the way they do that is in advance as well I'm pretty sure so not much better. One big point is that they don't offer a call centre and in my experience if anything goes wrongdon't, expect a quick reply if one at all. Flip side is their backend is pretty reliable most of the time and it's cheap as chips.

Imo you get what you pay for, I'd definitely shop around and find something a little more reliable with better support for business.

Are you wanting a full phone system or just a VoIP line or two?

Just two lines, feeding an existing pbx from routers ATA (already wired it up today with a free 2talk line to test it all out). Was on centrex with Spark but not worth it considering how little we'd use the speed dials which was really the only feature we used.

May be worth talking to Vodafone, these sim card phones are too crap to keep and its only been 2 days lol Or look into 2talk more, they do have attractive bundles for mobile minutes which is what we call a hell of a lot of.
