any idea when the advanced set will come through?, what im going to do in the meantime is set those numbers i dont want to come through to indervidual ring tones (i.e no tone)  via my cordless phone then they will go to message box they will soon get the idea :) yes i will have to check the mail box but better than dealing with phone calls every 5 mins from surveys

Why don't you answer the phone and advise them:
- not to call you any more and
- to put your number on their "do not call" list

Make a note of the date, time, person you are speaking with and the Direct Marketing organisation they are working for.  Then advise them that if you receive any further calls from anyone in their organisation, you will make a complaint to the Direct Marketing Association.

It's a little bit of pain but it should work and by the sounds of it you'll get a more immediate effect than by waiting for an advanced feature set to be released.

There is actually a web site where you can opt out of these calls, which is supposed to be used by NZ companies.  We did and the calls droped significantly, but it looks like we have to do it again since we have moved to Fusion which is essentially like you have created a new account and the "opt out" is not valid any more.  Unfortunately I can not remeber the web site...

cool will try this, problem is my girlfriend gets most of the calls and she has had a brain injury in a car crash about 5 years ago, and when it comes to the crunch she somtimes can not think on the fly while she has sombody yabering in her ear but if i get the call i will certainly do this thankyou

will also try and find the web site the others are talking about
