So my contract ended a few months ago but I wanted to leave the resign until the iPhone 7 is released, my question is.

When Vodafone start taking pre-orders how to I go about ordering my new phone, getting the rebate applicable to my phone and make sure I am very early on so I get my phone of release?

I have always gone through the business end and never managed to get my phone on release, only a few days later (oh the humanity!)

Who has pre-ordered from Vodafone using a resign?

Thanks for any advise.

You need to wait to see if pre sales happen

That's funny!

Lets assume the pre-sale is happening, how does one go about renewing their plan?

Do I need my account number, password, do I need to call or can it be done online?

I have never had to do this as part of a pre-order before.

I am sure heaps have so looking for their advise.

Any handsets that can be done on pre-order is always on the VodafoneNZ main site and can ordered on the site

Something like the next iPhone would be very clear on the Vodafone site if / when pre-order does happen

I've done this in the past. This is how it worked that time:

1. Go onto Vodafone's web site and log in with your MyVodafone details.

2. When the pre-order goes live, a button appears on the iPhone page.

3. You go through the ordering process, choose the type you want etc. When you click through, on a second page you select that you want to re-sign your contract.

4. In the days before delivery, you'll get an invoice in your email with an acknowledgement that your re-sign has been processed including any new plan details. In the background, a Vodafone rep has done the paperwork and extended your contract.
