       Problem, so you phone xnet,  Whilst waiting for a real person the answer machine will advise restarting
       your router,  If you are on xnet fusion this action alone will solve there problem.  Work it out.       .

I can't tell if you're complaining about the Xnet help desk, or the people that call it?

Either way - a bit more detail would be nice...

O, sorry thought it was obvious, if you are on xnet fusion and you reboot the router it will drop your telephone connection
as well.  Telephone connection being dependent on the adsl service.

I guess they'd hope people would have enough common sense to work that out for themselves, or call from another line (mobile for example) - generally, for non-Naked (clothed Tongue out) DSL, ISP helpdesks want you to do an isolation test first test anyway. Since this involves unplugging all your phones... similar thing applies.
