I just had a look at what it was this week, I usually buy them if they are a reasonable amount of data that is not the offpeak one.

Anyway, both my sims had a $0 for 3 gigs deal. How could I say no to that?!

If you dont usually bother checking them go have a look - not sure if its an error or a promo but data is data.

Unless you got a special deal, the 3G is offpeak data but $0 I still "bought" it.

I find those friday deals weird. I have two prepay phones and each have the same deals, but at different pricing. Occasionally they have some good deals, although this one is probably the best.

Yeah, it used to be data sms and voice, and you still see the blue squares roll past on the slot machine animation, but its always voice voice and data for the deals since sms went unlimited. Never 2 data ones, which IMO would be more use.

I have had signifigant variance in the pricing between sims for the same deal, and also quite different amounts of data. I think 12 gigs of offpeak is the most I have had offered at some high price.

Maybe I'll watch some Netflix on the road this weekend.

I think if you take up one of the deals, the next time a similar deal rolls up, they charge you more for it, than if you didn't take up the previous deal. A bit like getting you hooked on something, and then charging you more for it they next time you want to get your fix. Guessing it is perfectly okay for them to do this, even though it is selling exactly the same deal / service to different people at different prices.

I must admit it didn't occur to me that the deals might be different for each user. Since my wife is also on the same prepaid plan, I'll compare deals next Friday. She never checks.

The best I got was 250 minutes for free so I took it but probably don't use it since I don't make that many calls.
