I finally got round to doing the final part of the grand plan today.... abit quite a drama it was though.
I already have Cable, and I wanted a phoneline and ADSL setup. Simple right? haha, hell no!
Of course we rang TC to get the service, as were already with them for the cable so seemed logical they could give us the adsl aswell, waited for well over 20 mins or so, then got quite an arrogant fella who assured us, this was not possible! I thought he might be mistaking us for N00bs who wanted adsl over our cable, and made it quite clear we wanted a coper phone line with ADSL on it. NOPE, not possible. We are stupid and dont know what we are talking about. end of story, said we'll ring xtra, go for it.
Rang Xtra, another 20mins or so wait, first drone also repeated what TC had said, not possible, we are not allowed to have a phone line because we have TC cable. I was not going to accept this rubbish. She gave in quickly and put us straight through to the provising service desk who basically ironically told us she had no idea why TC and the first drone said we cant have it, and 10 mins later it was done!

Anyone else had this prob? and why couldn't TC sell us there PDQ (Pretty damn nothing really) broadband and look after an existing customer? and told us to go elsewhere?
