I'm thinking of having a VDSL master filter installed.

At present, there appears to be a impedance test resistor at the demarcation point (a small yellow cylinder).

Can the resistor and the VDSL master filter coexist, and if yes, in which sequence should they be wired in - resistor first or filter first?

Insights much appreciated.

Most techs will just cut out the test terminator. It isn't really required for anything important these days.

But to answer the question, yes it can be left in with a splitter installed.

I usually cut these out, but if I do leave them in I put them on the voice side of splitter.
