HIYAs

Relatively stupid question, however Iam going to ask anyway  (since the vodafone help wont help me at all)

What are the settings required for me to FTP to the homepages.ihug.co.nz  server?

Anyone know of a decent FTP program for MAC OSX?

cheers

The service is described as "webspace". Even though Vodafone/ihug new website says there are tutorials, there aren't any.

If you search their help if you find this not so helpful page. Try following the instructions and email the address for support...

Hmm...

The page for Internet Services > Webspace seems to be from the yester-year:

That link for "online tutorials to help you" never got put out there... which by going through the Internet Archive, goes here.

Hi Gooseybhai

Try this:

Server: ftp://homepages.ihug.co.nz
Username: same as your internet one
Password: this is not the same as the internet one. If you don't know it then you'll need to contact the helpdesk to have it reset.

Here is the link for more information (not the ihug website):

so,  anyone know where I can clue myself up on creating password protected FTP access and/or a protected download area?
Are there any utils/programs that can simplify this?

cheers

Umm... isn't the connection to the Vodafone/ihug server already password protected?

Multiple users
AKA  One Administrator and 7 users
The 7 users can use the same login/password

Therefore  2 logins required.
