What is the charge per month, to keep as the only service on an account a @vodafone.net.nz email address?

I have been told two story's, that it is $6 per month the is that the .net.nz emails can not be a sole service on an account, to those in the know which is it and how is this set up if it can be done?

Why would you want to? It's just like having an @xtra address. I wouldn't pay for the privilege.

Seems an even better reason to move it off an ISP then.

Yep I think that's correct. Was shut down years ago by Intergen and migrated across to the TP2 Fixed line service and free to anyone who still had a mobile broadband account from memory. Once that shut down, charge applied having it on Fixed line.

Could be wrong but that's how I remember it.

I pay ~$5 for my 2 old ihug address through Vodafone. I think you can have up to 3 for the same amount. Their webmail client (https://webmail.vodafone.co.nz/vfwebmail/) has vodafone.net.nz so I assume it would be the same.
