I recommend my friend to join Xnet on december however I still have not receive the credit in my march bill.its now april

Have you guys had any problems with the FriendXchange?

My friend called xnet to help me get the credit and they said that they will review the recording to see if my name was meantioned and will email her. 
This was last month and she never received the email

The site only says that my name and phone number needs to be meantioned when she joins so that I get the credit.
It never stated that my name or details needs to be meantion during the recording

I rung yesterday and the sales person said that I should wait until may to see what happens.


Has anyone had problems?Not very happy here.

I recommend two of my friends over.I was first told that I would need to wait at least 1 month before the credit would go thru my account and now today the woman over the phone said 3 months.I am getting different information from different people

I seem to be running around in circle.I just want the $50 thats all.Why is it so frustrating?

Mine hadn't arrived 4 or 5 months after we signed up a friend. Called them and they told me they would have someone call me back, which didnt happen. I emailed them and got a response a few days later, and it came through on the last bill. So all sorted now, but yes, had to chase it.

It does take months! I've signed up at least 3 friends (I was there when they signed up so I know they referenced my name) in the past 3 months or there abouts still waiting for 2 credits, but I think I might have just got a credit last month (although weirdly its $44.45 or something like that not $50?) I'll ring up the helpdesk at somepoint when they arent likely to be busy and find out whats going on.

If a value is not stated otherwise, its assumed to be inclusive of GST.

You bill probably gets itemised EX-gst, with the GST added in the sub-total area.

$44.50+gst credit = happy customer.

Did you friends or family nominated you during part of the recording because this is what they are saying.It should have been recorded but their site does not state this .

It simply says to "tell us when you join"

The recording and the refering are two different things.

When you join you are expected to be recorded .This recording consists of the plan you are wanting to join and that you agree you accept their terms and condition.Then they'll ask if there are any other questions and the recording ends.During the recording phase they would ask are there any more questions?This is just refering if you have any other questionswhich you might be unsure about on xnet and the plan you are on.Its got nothing with refering someone.


After the recording has ended you would tell them that your friend refer you across on the same call

As long as the call has not ended then it is still under the sentance "Simply tell us your friends name and number when you join"

I doubt I will get my credit and am not very happy about this.

You wouldn't expect my friend to call again and record another conversation saying that I nominated him across to xnet.

You should write it clearly in the website so it is more clear

They might think that you friend needs to state it during the recording but others are not aware of this.

I can simply say that the conversation she had after the recording is still part of the joining and at the end who wins the game?Xnet does.

We customers have no power to get the $50 credit all because of the funny sentance which you did not state clearly " Your friend just needs to mention your name and phone number when they join with us for their broadband internet".

Indeed it is true.She did tell you when she joined.

Do we all agree?

The fact is she did tell you my name and phone when she joined but it was not in the recording.

Its still is part of the "joining"

I have recieved $400 in credits for various recomendations,  all with no problem. Though it does take a couple of months for the credits to show.

Some time ago I've requested that XNet consider adding a "credit pending" counter on our invoices so we do know that it is still pending, but it has not happened (perhaps still under consideration?).  I do understand their side that they need to make sure our friends are genuine sign-ups and they do have to pay a couple of invoices before you get the credit, but it would be nice to know that it is registered and not wait 3-6 months before finding out there is no record of it.
