I ordered a product [more details can be given if it's relevant] on the Vodafone online shop; and after a short delay, got a confirmation email.

The email said they'd be back in touch once my order had been "processed".  It's been over 3 days.  Surely that can't be normal?  Can it ??

[And yes, I tried going into a shop to query expectations - gave up waiting to talk to a person after a reasonable period.  Tried ringing the 0800 number for the online store to talk to a person - gave up waiting after what was probably a very unreasonable period, but felt like ages!  Does Vodafone actually want to SELL stuff????  <end of rant>]

Message me with details and I'll check up on it for you. Apologies for delay in responding.

I ordered something from the sony shop (x1000 wireless headphones), which had an expected ETA in stock on the 5th May. . . and , my goods are still on backorder.

So, it is pretty normal for stores to give the incorrect information (I've had this kind of thing happen so many times, even with amazon who shipped a cancelled order to me 1 year after I cancelled it).

Update: It took a week before I got the next email that my order had been processed.

Just in case anyone is seeking an answer in the future....  (Hi, Future!  How's the weather?)
