Just noticed my 30 down 10 up fibre has now magically become 50 down 10 up

Thanks Chorus/Vodafone!

Finally they are moving people off the old NGA Evolve plans!
Yo could have got the upgrade a while ago. Isnt 100/20 the standard now? Try for that?

Im ok with 50/10 sure 100/20 would be nicer.. but now my fraudband is almost as fast as VDSL ;-) I think there is still a price difference between the 50.10 and the 100/20?

p.s I'm in Nelson

Checking the website i see they still do 30/10, BUT the 100/20 is the same price. Seems a little silly???
Bigpipe minimum is 100/20 now.

They could still be on the old NGA Evolve plans, it's just that Chorus increased the download speed to 50.

Yes was aware it was going to happen back a few months ago and did write in here at the time asking if they were going to up the upload speed to 20mbit at the same time.

If vodafone is offering 100/20 for the same price as 50/10 why havn't all their 30/10 50/10 customers been automatically upgraded?

I seem to recall 30/10 100/20 having a $10 or $20 difference back when I went onto it.
