WEll guys, sorry if this post should be else where.

I was on the Vodafone website this morning, and noticed an odd thing.
They used to have bold lettering saying "Apple iPhone" (on the homepage), linking to a signup page allowing Vodafone to email you when the iPhone has been released.

Well, today that was gone. Guess what I did happen to find? Yes, you guessed it. A Mobile phone category for the Apple iPhone.

However, hours later (around 1pm today), this category was removed. (Typical, huh?). It links to http://www.vodafone.co.nz/iphone/

Obviously, they're not allowing access to this directory, but I guess this just gives more fuel on the fire regarding the release to be VERY soon.

Keep watching :D

EDIT:

Oh hey guys, just would like to add, Vodafone do releases for mobile phones usually on the 1st and 15th of every month. (they may not realse new phones every month, but these are usually thedates), whether this applies to Apple or not, i dont know.

I saw that too - references in both the home page and shop disappeared (also the title of Vodafone's home page no longer says "iPhone")

Can't wait for it to come out, the sooner the better!!!

Looks like the vodafone site is missing a few pictures: - Maybe they are still working on the iPhone page...

Yeah, theres not much news about it, but assuming all rumours are correct. then the Apple iPhone should be here within weeks, if not days.

with the long wanted 3G chip.
I had the previous iPhone, loved it to bits, but it definitely needs a 3G makeover (with MMS, might i add).

But it's interesting that Vodafone has pulled nearly all the information regarding the iphone. The only thing still there is the press release, which doesnt tell very much at all anyways.

But yes, the link i posted earlier, thats now been denied where as before it was where you signed up so vodafone could email you about it.

Personally, I think its all steps further to a realase stage.

EDIT:

Just after posting this, i went and reloaded the press release page, now theres a link saying "Get Apple iPhone news alerts sent to your inbox"
This definitely wasnt here before... Unfortunately, the link does nothing for me? just links to basically where i put you before, only index.jsp has been added.. And then redirects to the stupid press release.
