Quick question...

When did Vodafone start sending out HG659b's with the connection expecting to do DHCP Vlan 10 over VDSL?

IMO it is great, since that's also what is used on UFB for Vodafone.

Caught this out as an interesting one for customer's picking up cheap vodafone HG659b's and being unable to get PPP on spark connections..

Notice the official docs on VF's site also says DHCP now.

Does this mean DHCP over VF DSL is now stable? i recall it being pretty chugy if the buffer filled up (vodafone would drop session from their end and have no data transfer till a new session was created)

Vodafone VDSL has always been DHCP vlan10 and I never had issue on my HG659 on it.

I think B19 firmware from 2 years ago onward has the default in there for the VDSL interface.
