Is anyone else losing connectivity in central Newtown, Wellington? On the bus last night and this morning by connectivity cut out when approaching the central shopping area of Newtown and then came back about 1km down the road.

yes happened to me last night and this morning through the same area, I have 5 days left on my voda plan but that sealed it, im switching back to skinny tomorrow

Thanks for confirming. Mine dies at the city end of Riddiford Street and comes back when the bus turns down Rintoul Street.

I suppose I'll have to call them about it tomorrow, but I would have thought that they would have some sort of network monitoring that would alert them to problems like this. I also would have thought that they would have had complaints from home wireless broadband users in that area.

So has anyone called 777 and logged and fault? I am aware of planned work in Whitby with a new site,

I have also passed this thread onto one of the guys that work on the RAN side of things in Vodafone

OK Nigel has responded and will investigate tomorrow, He has a link to this thread so street names where the issue happens will help and the approx date issue started

Five times in a row for me, so the fault is totally consistent in that area. QJay - out of interest what sort of device are you using?

Thanks for passing on the details, Linux. I can confirm that the issue started on Monday and is still persisting as of 6pm tonight.

I know I should have called 777 today but got busy and after my last experience with the overseas call centre I was subconsciously procrastinating a bit.

Ok the Wellington Newtown site issue is now fixed,

Data stalling complaints in different locations must not be related but the VodafoneNZ folks now watching this thread so post some information to help the guys and girls

I noticed it yesterday, but it could have been longer.

I did send an email to our account manager this morning, but have not heard back.

Same thing here going through Wairau Valley, full 4G service and active data session but no connectivity, has been like this every day for around a week now.

I've encountered multiple issues as well as well over the past couple of days.

Couldn't get data working at all yesterday at Wellington airport to order an Uber and it took some time to get anything working. I've also encountered issues in the Wellington CBD today with what appears to be a single site in Taranaki St randomly resulting in stalled traffic and the Internet seemingly not being available but pings to an IP address are fine.
